I remember always being fascinated by the story of Amelia Earhart when I was younger. I still am! It is nice to have an action-packed movie without shooting, car crashes and bombs. The girls haven't been to the Smithsonian so now at least one has had a glimpse of what it is like. All in all a good movie.

Later, the younger two enjoyed a quick and easy craft project. Flip-flops covered in fleece using the school colors.
All done! They have been wearing them everywhere.
Our middle child is missing in action from the above pictures because she and the oldest were busy doing this:
The youth at our church performed the musical Godspell after working on it for a week. It was fabulous! I love the music--so many upbeat songs. The end nearly moved me to tears. The oldest, who loves to be on stage, got to perform a dramatic death at the end next to Jesus. I think they are both sad the week is over.

If I were really on top of this blogging thing, I would have a nice tribute to my honey for being a wonderful father because he is. Maybe by next year I'll be prepared. He and the girls will go mini-golfing this afternoon as is the tradition. We'll go out for dinner after that.

Have a happy Father's Day!
