One glorious evening in early August we went to a Twins game. Just my husband and I. Of course, it just so happened that the oldest was there too--in a suite--with some friends. I hadn't been to the "new" stadium which is probably three years old. It is very nice. We had great seats down low between home and first base courtesy of my husband's work.
It was an exciting game against the Chicago White Sox. After an early lead things got tied up and then we won in the 9th inning. There were some amazing catches by one of our players. The weather was perfect--not too hot or cool and no rain. I'd love to go back.
These were a few other forms of summer entertainment for the youngest.
This picture that my husband took with his phone has got to be one of the oddest. The youngest looks suspended in mid-air.
The weather has gotten cooler since these pictures were taken and today we had rain! The colors are still amazing even though a lot of leaves are on the ground. Enjoy what remains of autumn!
