In early August, middle child turned 18. How did that happen? This week she sent in her absentee ballot for the presidential election. Wasn't it just last week that she liked Barney and rocked her high chair across the kitchen floor?
It was a nice day. We went as a family to an art fair in a fun part of town.
After opening gifts, I went with her to Olive Garden where we enjoyed dinner with her friend who is a year older, but celebrates her birthday one day later and the friend's mom. It was delicious as it always is.
