Nature

A week ago the younger two and I went for a walk around the nearby lake.
What is there about water and rocks that never fails to fascinate the young?

On Friday, we tried the zoo again. This time we did everything that was outside. It was a hot day!

The bears had been working on salmon frozen in ice. It was fun to watch!

What is this giraffe after?

Why the expensive, gourmet crackers of course!

The youngest loved the goats. Some of them wanted a bite of my backpack straps!

The butterfly garden is very colorful. It does get a little distracting after a while with the butterflies here, there and everywhere.

On the way home we stopped at the grocery store and stocked up on Gatorade and Italian Ice to cool us down and quench our thirst.
The oldest is home from camp so all the chicks are back in the nest. Next up school pictures and a driving test.
